Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking with us.

1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% non-refundable deposit and a signed booking form. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Pricing

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) per person unless otherwise stated. Prices include items listed under "Inclusions" for each tour. Park fees are subject to change by the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) and any increases will be passed on to the client.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost
  • 15-29 days before departure: 75% of total cost
  • Less than 15 days or no-show: 100% of total cost

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance with adequate coverage for medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings is mandatory for all our tours. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure. For Kilimanjaro climbs, your policy must specifically cover high-altitude trekking up to 6,000 meters.

5. Health & Fitness

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate health and fitness for their chosen tour. Kilimanjaro climbs require reasonable physical fitness. We reserve the right to refuse participation if a client's condition poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

6. Liability

Exceed Expectations Tours acts as an agent for various service providers (hotels, airlines, parks) and is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity caused by these third parties. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance and all our vehicles are fully insured.

7. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, park closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. Alternative arrangements of comparable standard will be made when possible. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

8. Complaints

Any complaints should be raised with your guide during the tour so that we can address them immediately. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of tour completion to info@exceedexpectationstours.com.
